Hello Divine Goddess
Kinda sounds like getting married and some fun between the sheets but I'm not talking about that (well not this time. That is definitely a convo for another day). This kind of commitment and action needs to be taken wayyyyy before committing to anyone else.
I'm talking about making a commitment to yourself and taking action on that commitment
You can go to alll the workshops/seminars on self development and read a ton of books and to be blunt, if you don't action anything then it's pointless.
Action doesn't have to be big massive huge steps. I would advice against it. Do baby steps. I need to stress this point!!!!Do a baby step, once it's a habit then do another and repeat. Before you know it you have gone miles with all the baby steps.
Be conscious in your commitment. Stick to it!!
A big commitment for me...
I am not a morning person. I have found a little routine that helps. I get up and oil pull for approx 20 min. It's great, I can't talk lol. It has huge health benefits and I get to wake up. I do my to do list - which helps keep me focused and grounded through out the day. When I don't get stuff done I add it to the next day. I have a 3 month old and 5 school children (shared care) so most days my list doesn't get the full tick off. However this process gets shit done.
Nearly every morning my alarm goes off, my gremlin mind tells me to go back to sleep, I need the sleep, I've been up with the baby, blah blah blah and I nearly listen....... UNTIL I remember the commitment I have to taking action in the morning. This gets me out of bed real quick. I also have attached a feel good feeling to this. After I have oil pulled and written my to do list and if enough time I journal. I feel great. I feel motivated, light, inspired and happy. I also get shit done a lot more productively. I focus on this and it gets me going!! I am committed to this!!!
Goddess Way tips
Be committed to taking action - if you are serious about change in your life.
When wanting to change/shift something attach a good or not so good feeling to it.
Another example for me with attaching a feeling to it.
I am gluten sensitive. So l can eat gluten however 9 times out of 10 I get very unpleasant symptoms. Symptoms like bloating, feeling of and constipation, extreme tiredness, brain fog, pain in finer joints and pains/aches in my body. If I go to eat gluten I think of these symptoms and ask do I really want it? While asking myself this l focus on those symptoms.
This also brings my choices to a conscious choice too. I am consciously choosing to eat for my body or against and either way it is my choice
What are you committed to in taking action? What feelings are you attaching to it to make it happen?
Blessings & Love
