Mood booster ~ Gratitude
I love the beach. Best place for me to ground and recharge. Extra grateful for this day as it was spent with my family!
When I'm feeling down and bummed about my life a technique I've learnt to help lift my mood is Gratitude.
I will say to myself what are 10 things I'm grateful for. Each time l do this I am amazed at how quickly my mood shifts.
Sure there are times of great stress, especially money. Then I think my bills are always paid and in the past I've always gotten by. And this time is no different. The universe always provides for me.
It is a great mood booster.
Love the full moon. Grateful for this time and at this particular time spending it with an amazing friend
I am working on writing in my journal a page of gratitude each night. Ok it doesn't happen each night however I make my best effort to do it as often as possible. If I can't write it, l will say to myself the things I am grateful for. When I do write my gratitude down I sleep better and wake in a better place with in.
I also want to keep attracting more things to be grateful in my life so l work on focusing on the amazing things already in my life.
Grateful for my two older children. Who have taught me so much
What you focus on is where your energy goes. Where energy goes is what is reflected in your life. Our thoughts are extremely powerful. Only we can control them. Make them work for you, not against you.
Yes we all have a story.
Yes we all have some shit in our lives.
Yes we all have amazing things in our lives.
The choice is always yours on what you want to focus on.
Want more amazing things to be grateful for in your life, then focus on the good and the amazing things. And watch how more amazing things happen in your life.
Grateful for the memories & gifts l have of my stillborn son, Isaac
Your daily gratitude list can be of anything. Anything that lights you up. It can be from family, friends, blue sky to rain and chocolate (definitely chocolate), a flower you saw or an amazing connection you had that day. If it lights you up then put it on your list.
